399 papers authored or co-authored in peer-reviewed journals including 33 book chapters about: Histology of the cryosurgical adhesion, long-term (7-15 years) anatomical and functional results on various treatments for retinal detachments (segmental buckling, balloon, expanding gases). A 3-year study on the effect of pancryopexy for diabetic eyes with persistent vitreous hemorrhage, various papers on fluorescein angiography, indocyanine green angiography, laser scanning ophthalmoscopy, microperimetry, OCT, diagnostics and treatment of age-related macular degeneration, Photodynamic Therapy (PDT), the treatment of diabetic retinopathy with laser, brachytherapy (iodine-125) for choroidal melanomas with 4-year follow-up.

More recent papers evolving from the clinical work at the University Eye Clinic of Mannheim-Heidelberg, Germany, are covering the multifold applications of intravitreal pharmacotherapy for edematous and neovascular retinal/macular diseases (exudative AMD, diffuse diabetic macular edema, macular edema in retinal central/branch vein occlusion or Irvine Gass).
