The Journals Database (ZDB) is the world's largest database indexing titles and proof of ownership of serial collected editions, in other words, of journals, newspapers, etc. It contains both printed works and titles of electronic journals. The ZDB covers more than 1.2 million titles in all languages from 1500 to the present day and indexes more than 6 million copies owned by around 4,300 libraries in Germany. The ZDB does not index any titles of articles.
