About the Lab
Jonathan Sleeman is Franz-Volhard Professor for Microvascular Biology
and Pathobiology at the Medical Faculty Mannheim, University of Heidelberg.
The Sleeman lab is part of the
CBTM (Center for Biomedicine and Medical Technology Mannheim).
In addition, Prof. Sleeman is also associated with KIT
(Karlsruhe Institute of Technology) and has an additional laboratory
located within the ITG
(Institute for Toxicology and Genetics) at KIT Campus North.
Our research is conducted in both laboratories.
Jonathan Sleeman is Programme Director of the Master of Science programme
"Translational Medical Research"
at the Medical Faculty Mannheim, University of Heidelberg
(see also the University of Heidelberg

He is also coordinator of the EU-funded Framework Programme 7 Collaborative
Project TuMIC
(Tumor Metastasis Integrated Concept),
and was coordinator of the EU-funded Framework Programme 6 STREP project
BRECOSM
(Identification of Molecular Pathways that regulate the organ-specific
metastasis of breast cancer).
