Masters Programme "Translational Medical Research"
Translational medical research is a two-way process. On one hand it concerns
the process whereby the findings of basic research are converted into new approaches
for the diagnosis and therapy of disease. On the other hand it involves the conversion of clinical observations into basic research questions that can be addressed in the laboratory.
Launched in 2009, the Master of Science in Translational Medical Research (MSc TMR) programme systemically provides students having a medical or bioscience background with the knowledge and skills necessary to participate in the frontier of translational medical research.
Reflecting the research foci of our faculty, students can choose to specialize in molecular oncology, neurobiology, or vascular medicine.
You can find more information about the MScTMR programme on the pages of the University of Heidelberg.
