Compulsory use of masks, distance and hygiene rules, walking paths

At present, masks are compulsory on the entire UMM grounds, this also applies to building 42 and the library. We ask you to keep your mouth and nose protection on when walking through the library and interacting with other people. As long as you are sitting at a workplace, the MNS may be removed.

Please enter the library one at a time and follow the paths marked with arrows on the floor and the general rules of distance (at least 1.50 metres). Hand disinfectants are available in the foyer and in the library.

Access authorization for UMM affiliates only

About 88 people are allowed to stay in the library. Until further notice, access authorization is limited to members of the faculty and the hospital. Please bring your Uni-ID card or your staff ID card and show it at the counter. You will then receive an access card and, if necessary, a basket from us (the access card must be returned when leaving the library!)Regulations for breaks: When you take a break, please leave your admission card at the counter together with your library card or CampusCard.

Until further notice, only the reading resp. WLAN workstations and the PC workstations (without using the computers) may be approved. In order to ensure that the distance rules are followed, we will mark which places may be used. The group study rooms, the PC pools in the annex and the roundabout remain closed.

All devices in the print room may be used (black and white printer, multifunction printer, scan station). Please make use of the hand disinfectants provided! Please note that you have to bring your own device (notebook, tablet, ...) in order to print via upload (link Print account on the homepage, instructions are available), as all PCs in the library are not accessible.

Borrowing & Returning

It is possible to return media via the book return station in the entrance hall - for reasons of hygiene, please do not require a return receipt (no operation of the touch screen).
