Khanlian Chung is a Phd Student at Heidelberg University, Germany. The focus of his research is CT image reconstruction. To reduce the radiation exposure, new knowledge-based reconstruction techniques are developed in order to use undersampled CT data.

Khanlian received his diploma in Physics focusing on Semiconductor Laser at TU Kaiserslautern in 2014. After being employed as an engineer in a health care company for about one year, he joined the Department of Computer Assisted Clinical Medicine of Heidelberg University. Belonging to the research campus M²OLIE in Mannheim, he now works in an interdisciplinary environment with industrial partners.
