Benedikt Rieger is a PhD candidate at Heidelberg University, Germany. He received his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering at the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University Mannheim. In 2010 he pursued his master’s degree in electrical engineering at the Technical University of Munich.

After working for two years for the management consulting firm OC&C, he joined the Department of Computer Assisted Clinical Medicine of Heidelberg University for his PhD in 2015. The focus of his research is the field of Magnetic Resonance Fingerprinting (MRF).
