Dr. Ergül Eyol
After studying veterinary medicine at Ankara University, Ergül Eyol worked as a livestock veterinarian in central Anatolia. He moved to Germany in 2000 and started his doctorate at the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) in Heidelberg in 2003. He worked as a research assistant in Molecular Toxicology and Chemotherapy under the direction of Prof. Dr. M. Berger until 2009.
In 2012, he accepted an appointment as assistant professor for Pharmaceutical Toxicology at the Turkish University Inönü.
In 2015, Dr. Eyol returned to Germany for family reasons. He resumed his scientific work while striving for his German "veterinary license".
Since January 2019, he has been working at the Institute for Clinical Radiology and Nuclear Medicine of the Medical Faculty Mannheim as part of "Z Project" under Prof. Dr. B. Wängler.
