Anna Völkel, M.Sc.

Anna Völkel completed her bachelor's degree in Public Health/ Health Sciences at the University of Bremen. She then transferred to the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Heidelberg in 2019, where she completed her master's degree in health services research and implementation science in health care. In both her bachelor's and master's thesis, she focused on dementia patients, their care, and the living situation of family caregivers.

From August to November 2021, she worked as a student assistant at the Mannheim Institute of Public Health - now the Department of Public Health, Social and Preventive Medicine. Since November 2021, she has supported the team of the Competence Network Preventive Medicine as a research assistant.
