Irene Brumer received her B.Sc. in Physics from the Ludwig-Maximilians University Munich in 2017 and her M.Sc. in Medical Engineering and Physics from Kingís College London in 2018. Her master thesis, carried out in the Neuroradiology department of Kingís College Hospital, focused on implementing a robust data analysis protocol to assess language lateralisation using functional MRI to be implemented in the clinical routine for presurgical planning. In December 2018, she joined the Chair in Computer Assisted Clinical Medicine in the Faculty of Medicine Mannheim, University of Heidelberg as a PhD candidate. Her work concentrates on perfusion MRI using arterial spin labeling.
