Research Focus Areas

Five research focuses (Comprehensive Campuses) and one research area have been established at the the Medical Faculty Mannheim, which significantly determine the scientific profile of the faculty.

Numerous institutions of the faculty, both preclinical and clinical-theoretical, as well as clinical institutions, are involved in each individual research focus. The research focus areas are interlinked and are characterized by strategic external partnerships, which are reflected in the Mannheim Comprehensive Campuses.
