Numerous lecture series and other events with scientific content and beyond are offered by the Medical Faculty Mannheim and the UMM. In general these can be attended by young scientists and credited towards the structured doctoral programmes.

Introductory Days for doctoral students

June 2025

At the beginning of June 2025, the STMM will offer another introductory event for newly registered doctoral students (especially Dr. sc. hum.). It generally includes basic content from the categories "Good scientific practice" and "Key competences for scientists”, as well as presentations about the research environment at the Medical Faculty Mannheim and regional resources for doctoral students.

Participation in this event will be credited with a corresponding number of credit points/hours towards the Dr. sc. hum. curriculum. Further information on the contents can be found on the event page.
