Kerstin Bohnert, M.A.

Since May 2023, Kerstin Bohnert has been coordinating the quantitative sub-study in the PICAR project as a staff scientist. The study includes a cross-sectional survey of children with common chronic diseases and their parents, as well as linking results to billing data from a large health insurance company in Germany. Previously, she worked as a staff scientist at Fulda University of Applied Sciences in the project "Nebolus - Förderung der navigationalen Gesundheitskompetenz bei jungen Menschen im Sozialraum". From 2019 to 2022, she worked as a project manager at the NAKO Health Study office.

Kerstin Bohnert studied health sciences in both her Bachelor's and Master's degrees. Already during her studies and her part-time jobs, she focused on improving the health situation, especially of children and adolescents.
