In 2010, the first cohort of TMR students started their journey into the world of translational medical research at the Medical Faculty Mannheim, and since then the program has constantly adapted, optimized and increased its content, attractiveness and reputation.
On July 18, 2025, we celebrated the 15th anniversary of TMR with our students, alumni, lecturers, supervisors, supporters and everyone interested in the program and the careers of TMR alumni. It was a wonderful day full of great memories, impressive insights into our alumni's careers and a proud celebration of the TMR Master Program.
The event was held in the lecture hall H02 in the Old Brewery next to the UMM campus, with additional participants joining online via Zoom (details provided in the Anniversary Flyer). Thanks to everyone who made the TMR Anniversary Event such a huge success - we are looking forward to staying in contact and adding to the growing TMR family.
The event showcased the remarkable achievements of our TMR alumni across the globe and reinforced the strong bonds within our growing TMR family. The impressive insights into our alumni's diverse career paths - from clinical medicine to academic research - demonstrated the program's continued excellence and impact in translational medical research.
