Vincent Brugger, M.Sc.

Vincent Brugger works as a staff scientist in the Lemedart project, where he supports the project by providing economic evaluations of the added values of the set use-cases. In addition, he is pursuing a Ph.D. degree in in which his interests lie in transferring new statistical methods for improving external validity into scientific practice.

Previously, he worked since September 2021 in the team of the joint project "Competence Network Preventive Medicine Baden-Württemberg" in Mannheim as a staff scientist on cost-benefit analyses for health economic evaluation of preventive measures. The tool to be developed is based on the framework of the Washington State Institute of Public Policy (WSIPP) and should support policy makers.

At the University of Mannheim, he studied economics in the Bachelor of Science program with a study abroad program at the Toulouse School of Economics. From 2019 to 2021, he studied in the Master of Science Economics also at the University of Mannheim. In his studies, his main interest was in public economics and its methods, so for his master's thesis he investigated the impact of the online publication of tax data on the consumption of luxury goods.
