New printing system

We have a new printing system in the library.

Printing via upload in the "Print account" and via direct printing with the printer driver followprint is still possible until the end of May 2024 so that old credit can be used up. It will no longer be possible to top up new credits.

New printing system is now "Ricoh myPrint"

Short guide for students:

1. to print, log in to the Ricoh myPrint web portal (library homepage) with your Uni ID and password.

2. upload your document there.

3. pick up your document at one of the three left-hand multifunctional devices with card terminal for billing in the printer room. Login: with your Uni ID and the corresponding password.

4. insert your student ID card (contains CampusCard payment function) into the card terminal to pay for your printouts.

Short guide for faculty staff and doctoral candidates:

1. to print, log in to the Ricoh myPrint web portal (library homepage) with your Uni ID and the corresponding password.

2. upload your document there.

3. pick up at the multifunctional device for faculty members (printer room on the right). Login: with Uni ID and the corresponding password.

ATTENTION: Doctoral students can only print free of charge from January 2024 - information will follow!

Short guide for UMM employees and other users:

1. to print, log in to the Ricoh myPrint web portal (home page of the library) with your e-mail address and password.

If you are printing for the first time: you must create a print account in the Ricoh myPrint web portal. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email with a PIN.

2. upload your document to Ricoh myPrint.

3. pick up at one of the three left-hand multifunction devices with card terminal for billing in the printer room. Login: with your e-mail address (via the "Login Uni-ID" button) and the corresponding password or PIN (via the "Login PIN" button)

4. insert your CampusCard into the card terminal to pay for your printouts.

CampusCard for UMM employees and other users:

Temporary solution: Please write to the Studierendenwerk Heidelberg (e-mail) that you need a CampusCard for the library. You will then receive the necessary information.

Top up card:

In order to be able to pay with your student ID or CampusCard, you need to top up your card. Topping up is possible as follows:

1. by ec or credit card at the top-up station in the PRISMA building TPMA 2 (Franz-Volhard-Straße 6, behind the Cubex One, access with monthly changing door code via Moodle)

2. online via the CampusCard top-up portal (via PayPal) of the Studierendenwerk.

Copying and "Scan to Mail" is also possible with the new multifunctional devices.
