Miriam Ngarega

Miriam is a Master of Epidemiology student at the University of Antwerp. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry with honours from the University of Nairobi. Prior to her current studies, she was a training fellow and research officer at the African Population and Health Research Centre.

Miriam has keen interest in sound scientific evidence generation that can drive actionable policy and practice to impact health and wellbeing. She seeks to leverage rigorous methodology in study design and data analysis for high-quality and relevant research. She is eager to apply her combined experience in clinical laboratory and community-based work to understand the complexities of life-course epidemiology.
