Teaching development

Modern teaching and learning techniques are used in teaching, such as bedside exercises with acting patients and teaching in small groups with a high practical component. In addition to interdisciplinary teaching, the Department of Public Health, Social and Preventive Medicine is characterized by innovative teaching and examination formats. Online and blended learning formats are used as well as interactive cases and quizzes. Beyond pure subject knowledge, competencies are taught in numerous case-based seminars in individual focus subjects.

Together with the Department of Medical Education Research, the Competence Center PJ and other clinical and medical didactic partners at the Faculty of Medicine, teaching formats and content in the focus subjects at MIPH are constantly being developed.
