Industry and Innovation Days

Every year in March the STMM offers Industry and Innovation Days.

The main aim of the Industry and Innovation Days is to give master and doctoral students from the health science continuum (life science, medical technology, psychology, medicine and more), as well as other young researchers the opportunity to interact, network and explore new ideas with local start-ups, industry professionals and professionals from other areas. During the two days participants learn about presenting, networking and entrepreneurship and have multiple opportunities to expand their own professional network. Doctoral students and researchers also receive first-hand information about resources of Uni Heidelberg’s central institutions and can meet the experts of transfer organisations.

From 2026 onwards the STMM Industry and Innovation Days follow a new format: Join the STMM and IMIM Innovation Day early in the year, for insights into entrepreneurship and the start-up ecosystem, and the STMM Career Day in spring for career development, job opportunities and networking.
