Borrowing
As an external user you are allowed to use our holdings within the library. Borrowing media is not possible.
You can reserve/order books currently on loan and media that are not freely accessible for use in your library. Please contact the staff at the information desk.
Literature search, reference management
- Detailed information on searching for books, journals, articles, dissertations, clinical studies, ...
- For document delivery (our document delivery service), please contact the University Libraries of Mannheim or Heidelberg, or use SUBITO as a private user - see also <link file:32400 download>ordering alternatives (in German).
Electronic media and access options
Within the faculty network (i.e. also in the library rooms) you have access to numerous electronic media (e-journals, e-books, databases) that are subject to licensing.
Note: From outside the faculty network (also from the hospital network) you have no access authorization.
Printing, copying, scanning, computer/notebook use
- Printing and copying is possible for a fee. Scanning is free of charge.
- Information on the use of computers/notebooks in the library.
