Here is a step-by-step guide:

1. Please use our automatic book return station in the foyer of house 42 to return borrowed books.

2. Location: between the library entrance and the left locker block

Note: You do not need a library card to return the book.

3. Place a book on the plate. As soon as the green light is on, push the book through the opening.

4. The flap closes automatically and a red light comes on. The machine now processes the book you have inserted and marks it with green as soon as it is booked back.

Now you can insert more books. These are all shown on the display. If the machine has booked it back, a green tick appears. If there is an error, a red X appears.

5. In the last step, you can print a return receipt if required. To do this, press "Print receipt". If you do not wish to do this, press "Done".

6. Should the return not work, simply come to the service desk in the library.
