5. Monographs & journals

Monographs are marked with a red class mark label. When researching in the online catalogue, note the signature, which consists of letters and numbers (e.g. G 7 b). Alternatively, you can display the location using the signpost function. This allows you to find the books you want on the shelf.

Subscriptions to printed journals are increasingly being replaced by electronic journals. Our online catalogue lists printed and electronic journals. For licensing reasons, access to the articles is only possible for members of the university.

In some cases, the printed journals are not located in the library, but in the clinics and institutes or in the closed stacks. Such journals can be ordered via the document delivery service. Journal articles from other libraries that are neither available in print nor electronically can also be ordered.
