The Mannheim Institute for Intelligent Systems in Medicine (MIISM) has a highly qualified core faculty specializing in three main fields. The area of “Information Systems in Medical Technology” is dedicated to the development and implementation of advanced information systems aimed at optimizing medical care. In the area of “Automation systems for medical workflows”, solutions are developed that aim to make medical processes more efficient and increase patient safety. The “Clinical Translation” area, on the other hand, focuses on the transfer of research results into clinical practice in order to integrate new technologies and methods into patient care quickly and effectively.
