The Cooperative Core Facility Animal Scanner ZI provides access to high field pre-clinical magnetic resonance imaging up to the size of rodents. The facility is located at the Central Institute of Mental Health (ZI) in Mannheim and is driven by the Group of Translational Imaging at the ZI and the Chair in Computer Assisted Clinical Medicine (CKM), Medical Faculty Mannheim sharing the measurement time.  CKM provides imaging method development, conception, advice, and technical support for pre-clinical imaging for all fields of applications including x-nuclei imaging except for translational research in psychiatry which is supported by the ZI.
