The Mannheim Center for Translational Neuroscience (MCTN) was founded in December 2019 as a collaborative effort of basic and clinical neuroscience at the Mannheim Medical Faculty of Heidelberg University to promote translation in neurosciences.

The MCTN constitutes a strong network of interdisciplinary neuroscientists spanning molecular and cellular Neurophysiology and Neuroanatomy, Neuroimaging, Neuropsychology, clinical and surgical neurology as well as psychiatry at the University Medicine Mannheim and the Central Institute of Mental Health Mannheim (CIMH).
