Whole Exome Sequencing & Custom Enrichment

Targeting only protein coding regions of the genome of an organism, whole exome sequencing (WES) provides a more cost-effective approach than whole genome sequencing. Gene panel sequencing for a particular applications are available and several providers offer custom enrichment panels that can be sequenced at the NGS core facility. Depending on the sequencing platform, exomes and panels are mostly processed in pools of 6-8 samples. If you submit fewer samples, we will try to pool them with others, but this may take longer.
