Current articles

You can keep informed about new articles by bookmarking a website or by subscribing to an e-mail alert or an RSS feed (RSS feeds can be saved as dynamic bookmarks in your browser or read via online services like feedly).

The following services provide faculty members with integrated fulltext access from anywhere:

1. JournalTOCs Premium: about 550 licensed or free E-Journals

  • selected by the library according to usage frequency and Impact Factor, amongst other criteria
  • register first with your @medma...- oder @umm.de email address to set up your email alerts (thereby you are connected with our UMM-Account)*
  • select journals after login via "Subscribed Journals" with "Filter" search field (also for "Subjects") or A to Z list.
    Tick "Follow" checkboxes for email alerts and make your "Account Settings" on the top right.

* Note: Inform the Library, if you want to register with your private email address or if you miss journals.

2. JournalTouch: about 250 licensed or free E-Journals

  • selected by the library according to usage frequency and Impact Factor, amongst other criteria
  • selection with search field, A to Z list or subjects ("Tags")
  • with RSS feed

3. Subscribe to PubMed e-mail alerts for articles from your favoured journals:

Note: Please open the link http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed?myncbishare=medizin_mannheim once per browser session to integrate our "Check full text" service.

4. Subscribe to new commented articles from the database ACCESSSS from 115 top journals via e-mail.
5. Subscribe to updates of topics or subjects in the clinical reference tool DynaMed Plus via e-mail.
